Elsevier came to LUME to film a podcast with Doctor Mike Varshavski and five healthcare students on AI in medical education. LUME produced the shoot end to end in LOFT 4, our cast-iron loft at 393 Broadway.
Our team specced the full camera, lighting, and audio package, handled the camera rental, and set up the gear on August 21, 2026, building a long wooden table against the exposed brick for a multi-camera recording. On shoot day we ran sound for six wireless microphones into a mixing board, ran the lighting, and worked with Elsevier's team to communicate the run of show to everyone on set.
LUME Studios is a brand activation agency and event production company at 393 Broadway, New York.

We brought in a freelance photographer and videographer to cover the session. Synced Sony FX3 and FX30 cameras were triggered together from a single iPad, holding every angle of the conversation plus a wide of the room. When the recording wrapped, we gave Elsevier space at LUME for a private dinner with Doctor Mike and the students.
Elsevier left with the full filmed conversation, released as an on-demand recording on September 16, 2026, and a gallery of 134 photographs from the shoot.
